Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I am Edgar Agayi—a law student, author, music enthusiast, history aficionado, and software engineer. I was born in the wonderful city of Kisumu, Kenya, and my education has taken me across different parts of the country.
From a young age, I have always been fascinated by the world and the immense knowledge it holds. This curiosity sparked my love for history. I've spent countless hours reading about Alexander the Great's conquests, Cyrus the Great's empire-building in Medo-Persia, the infamous betrayal of Julius Caesar by the Roman Senate, and how his nephew, Augustus Caesar, avenged him. And that's just the tip of the iceberg—if I started listing everything, we'd be here for years! This passion for history naturally led me to an interest in government studies and law, which is why I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Laws.
In today's world, computers form the very fabric of civilization. They are, without a doubt, one of humanity's most fascinating inventions. My deep love for technology drew me into software engineering. I wrote my first line of code at 14, and I haven't stopped since. Over the years, I've learned multiple programming stacks and worked on numerous projects, constantly pushing myself to explore new technologies.
And then, there's music. I produce beats whenever inspiration strikes—mostly EDM, house, and dance music. However, my taste in music is incredibly diverse. I often find myself listening to classical compositions, pop, R&B, and a bit of rock. Some of my favorite artists include Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, The Band CAMINO, The Neighbourhood, Billie Eilish, Kate Bush, and Kendrick Lamar (well... pre-beef, lol). Of course, the list goes on.
I've been writing since I was 13. For me, it's more than just storytelling—it's a way to express emotions and channel energy. While my works may be fictional, they are often inspired by real experiences. If you're curious, feel free to check out my books.
This portfolio is more than just a showcase—it's an open invitation to collaborate. If you're working on something meaningful, something that pushes boundaries and adds a little more beauty to the world, I'd love to be part of that journey.
